Once there was a land, where everyone could choose their culture, religion, sexuality… And you know what? Everyone accepted each other. If you had another culture or religion, other people were interested and everyone learned from each other. Whether you had a man or a woman as your loved partner, nobody cared. Oh yes, they did care. They cared about other people’s happiness and they cared about the persons themselves. They wanted to help each other, to develop, to strong women or men. Everyone, was equal.
The world I just described is an imaginary world. A place where everyone is accepted. Because now, we are too much labeling people. Label ‘bisexual’, label ‘Muslim’… But a person is more than only his sexuality or religion. It’s so restrictive to only look at one aspect of a person. A character has so much more in it! Besides, I don’t understand why anyone would discriminate. You can learn so much from other people. If you really can’t seem to accept someone’s sexuality, or anything else, keep it for yourself then. And be kind. Kill it with kindness, not with real lives.
I am writing this post because I’m still touched by what happened in Orlando last week. Does it matter if someone is in love with a girl or a boy? Should it? No. Because if they can be themselves like that, they can be happy. Nobody can choose their sexual preference. It is a part of who a person ís. So why tell them they can’t be happy, that everyone has to be straight? Why are some people so against bisexuality? Why is it a problem that a man loves a man, or that a woman is in love with a woman? Well, I don’t get it. The world would be really boring if everyone would be exactly the same.
I hope you can find some inspiration out of this post, please leave a comment what you think of it.
Lots of Love,
